Cricinfo respects the intellectual property rights of others and is committed to complying with the provisions of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“DMCA”). This DMCA Policy outlines the procedures for submitting notices of alleged copyright infringement and our process for responding to such notices.

Notification of Infringement:

Counter-Notification:

If you believe that material you posted on the Cricinfo website was removed or access to it was disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notification with us. To be effective, a counter-notification must include:

1. Your physical or electronic signature.
2. Identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled and the location at which the material appeared before it was removed or access was disabled.
3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
4. Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district in which the address is located, or if your address is outside of the United States, for any judicial district in which Cricinfo may be found, and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original notification of infringement.

Repeat Infringers:

Cricinfo reserves the right to terminate access to the Service of any user who is determined to be a repeat infringer of copyrighted material.

Changes to This Policy:

We may update or revise this DMCA Policy from time to time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on the Cricinfo website.
